Sir Francis William Grant of Monymusk, 8th Bt. was born on 10 February 1828.
He was the son of Robert Grant and Charlotte Yea.
He married Laura Fraser, daughter of John Fraser, on 2 December 1886.1 He died on 13 December 1887 at age 59, without issue.
He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 16th Lancers.
He succeeded to the title of 8th Baronet Grant, of Monymusk and Cullen, Buchan on 5 September 1884.1
Francis married Fraser, Laura on 2 Dec 1886. Laura (daughter of Fraser, John and Lomax, Hester Anne Mary Mostyn) was born in C 1849; died on 6 Feb 1933 in 107 Eaton Square, London S W. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
