- Chaplain, R.N. (1908-1912). Rector of Drewsteignton, Devon (1912-1955). Rural Dean of Okehampton (1942-1947). In 1961 the font at Drewsteignton Church was restored by his family in his memory and that of his wife Eleanor, who died 31 January 1956, while at the same time the baptistry was subscribed for by the parishioners of Drewsteignton and installed in the church in memory of their late rector and his wife.
